Damm Nice/Damien Ramirez, is a New York City native with 21 years experience tattooing. 

Self taught, Damm's  sense of style, and ability to render various images into permanent tattoo art expressions, sets him in the class few artists ever flourish in. 

Damien studied art from many sources available to him in NYC. From the New York City streets and  public schools, to schools like CUNY, SVA, and the Arts Students League, and organizations like the National Arts Club in Gramercy Park NY.

How do I book an appointment?


Yes. Typically its 30% of the estimated cost of the tattoo. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be applied to the final price of your tattoo.  Please click here to view our appointment policy. 

Do I have a leave a deposit to schedule an appointment?

All tattoos by Damm Nice are at a reduced rate as a result of the economic impact of the pandemic.

Tattoos start at $200 *even the small simple ones- (down from $300)

The hourly rate is $300 (down from $400)

How much is the cost?

How long does it take to heal?

It takes two weeks but it takes months for the skin to fully regenerate. 

Yes. But in the best possible way, Damm Nice uses numbing creams to minimize your discomfort.

Does it hurt?

Specific written instructions will be given to you on the day of your tattoo appointment. In addition NO swimming, soaking, tanning, covering with bandages or scratching for three weeks!

How do I care for my tattoo?

You must be at least 18 years of age. It is against New York State law (Section 260.21) to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. 

How old do I have to be to get my tattoo?

Eat well before the procedure and remain hydrated throughout your tattoo appointment, if you start feeling woozy, have a sugary beverage. Sugar is your friend to prevent passing out.  Avoid alcohol the day before, alcohol can increase bleeding and blood dilutes the pigments, affecting the outcome of your tattoo as well as the healing process.
